International Kabardian Horse Association (IKHA)

IKHA is a charity, non-governmental, non-profit organisation with the aim to save and stregthen the kabardian horse breed.
IKHA is the central information point for everyone interested in kabardian horses. You find information about the breed, special horses, projects, competitions and horses to buy, but also friends to meet and fun and pleasure reading interesting articles and watching beautiful photos. Everyone interested in the breed is welcome to contact us and IKHA will see to help everyone in all circumstances.

Further IKHA starts and supports projects around the kabardian horse breed and is closely connected to russian and european breeders and friends of the breed, official institutes like VNIIK or russian officials in moscow and caucasia, adjoining organisations of horses and especially all cherkess communities throughout the world.

Please notice: the offical start of the IKHA Symposium on 13th of february 2010 will be eariler and start already at 11:00! For registration purpose please arrive already at 10:30. Thanks!

At the moment Mr. President Kanokov of Kabardino-Balkarai and His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin al Hussein of Jordan have committet theirs strong will to participate in the symposium - if no urgent topcis will on short notice change this.

The 1st IKHA meeting

IKHA meeting participants On 17th of january 2009 a group of people from chechia, slovakia, france, russia, belarussia, kosovo, israel and germany met in munich/germany to found the new "International Kabardian Horse Association" in short "IKHA" - a non-governmental, non-profit organisation for the sake of the kabardian horse breed. Strongly supported by cherkess participants IKHA already got notice of additional support from switzerland, austria, poland, syria, turkey, jordania and georgia. The org is registered in germany by german law and at the moment starting to gow and get active. Stay tuned, as in short time you will notice IKHA much more!
